A special student is a holder of a higher education degree, not linked to any stricto sensu postgraduate program (PPG) at UFABC, seeking content for their studies or academic or professional improvement.
Resolution CPG 32/2018 establishes norms for the admission of special students to postgraduate courses at UFABC and the use of credits taken as a special student is regulated by Resolution CPG n º 15/2015.
PPGEBM accepts the enrollment of special students in subjects offered by the program, as disclosed in each four-month period on this website (with the agreement of the responsible professor).
To apply for registration as a special student, the candidate must complete the electronic form (SIGAA) attaching the following documents:
1) RG and CPF or passport, for foreign candidates;
2) Lattes curriculum updated;
3) Diploma or certificate of completion of the Undergraduate or Master's Degree or a certificate with an expected completion by the date of enrollment in the subject(s);
4) Graduation School History.
As approved in a meeting of the PPGEBM coordination, the selection and classification of candidates enrolled to take courses in the Program as special students will be carried out by the Program Coordination, following the criteria:
1 - Number of selection processes provided for admission as a regular student at the PPGEBM (by receipt);
2 - Number of PPGEBM courses taken as a special student, with approval with grade "A" or "B" (with proof);
3 - Justification of interest in taking courses at PPGEBM as a special student;
4 - Contact with a program advisor.
Once accepted in a subject, the special student will not be able to cancel and will be subject to failure in case of non-attendance to classes.
