RESPONSE PLAN FOR VENEZUELAN REFUGEES AND MIGRANTS IN BRAZIL 2019-2022: AN ANALYSIS FROM HUMAN SECURITY
This research analyzes what has been done by UN agencies, the Brazilian Federal Government, and Brazilian civil society for Venezuelan migrants in Brazil between the years 2019 and 2022. In carrying out this analysis, the research problem is: how does the implementation of the Response Plan for Refugee and Migrant articulate with human security on the issue of Venezuelan migration in Brazil? The hypothesis is that both are related, but that reality presented to migrants becomes more challenging over the years, since demand is high and the process is long-lasting. Thus, the main objective is to analyze the data from the implementation of the Response Plan for Refugees and Migrants to Brazil from an articulation of human security. The relevance lies in the contribution of the underlying scientific construction, by verifying what has been executed for migrants and mobilizing critical thinking aimed at improvements. Through a documentary analysis of the Refugee and Migrant Response Plan and bibliographic analysis of human security theory, it is expected to understand what has been developed for the reality of these people who migrate.
