Study of Chua's circuit with non-linear inductor: L²P hysteresis model.
This work proposes the study and development of a computer simulation
environment, which makes it possible to observe the behavior of a Chua
circuit with the addition of a non-linear inductor using the L2P
hysteresis model. To accomplish this, the entire operation of Chua's
circuit and the application of the non-linear inductor using the L2P
hysteresis model were described on a theoretical basis. In this way, it
was possible to obtain the parameters used in the construction of the
circuit. Finally, the project was elaborated through simulation of the
circuit in LTspice software and its modeling in Python language, where
it was possible to observe the response of the circuit with the
generation of chaos and its response with the hysteresis model L²P. In
the simulation, the necessary data for the elaboration of the circuit is
obtained using LTspice, where then the desired model could be coded in
Python language, which finally made it possible to obtain and compare
the circuit responses with and without adding a non-linear inductor and
observing the changes this causes to the behavior of this chaotic
system.
