Energy efficiency in the concentration process of a phosphoric acid plant
The usage of performance indicators for energy efficiency can be influenced by cultural, technical and economic. There are cases where the same scenario, when analyzed in distinct approaches, because of the particularities indicated, have shown contradictory and discrepant data for energy efficiency indices. These discrepancies underscore the contradictory and make impossible that the operation has a set of performance indicators concise and assertive for monitoring plant and managerial decision making. This work seeks to identify the influence of operational parameters on the energy efficiency indication for the concentration step of a phosphoric acid unit. Data mining models will be run for analysis of historical process data. The work allowed, through historical data of the productive process, the efficient economic analysis model. The adopted model allows for energy-efficient decision making for process operators and production managers.
