Decolonial Pleasures: Traslating Pro-Sex Feminism
The objective of this research is to make a de(s)colonial translation of pro-sex feminism’s reflections initiated in the late seventies and early eighties in the United States. First, I will offer a theory of recognition that lets me work on the problem of the subject and its place of speech. Secondly, I will study the thought of pro-sex feminists, mainly paying attention to the possibilities of constituting a subject according to the sex norms that are in dispute in the “Feminist Sex Wars”. In the third place, I will articulate reflections on “nature” based on theories of de(s)colonial feminism, which will allow me to review the positions of pro-sex feminism in relation to the subject and sexuality.
