SUMMARY:

This work proposes to analyze the influence of the diffusion of the Latin American model in the construction of the Angolan model. The proposed analysis focuses on the three Latin American cases “Programa Bolsa Família, Programa Oportunidades and Programa Tekoporã” that served as the starting point for our analysis. Considering the theoretical discussion, the text brings different perspectives associated with aspects of the welfare state, which allows us to broadly know its formation process and aspects related to the dissemination of policies that brings an approach to the adoption process and implementation of public policies. In order to answer the question raised in our research, we adopted the case study as a methodology and the theory of diffusion as an analytical basis for the selected cases.
