Coordination of Policies to Combat Violence Against Women - Analysis of the design and institutional interactions of health policies housing the Municipalities of ABC, São Paulo, Itapecerica da Serra and Taboão da Serra
In 2003, the fight against violence against women enters the national agenda with the creation of the Secretariat of Politics for Women and after approval at the 2nd Conference on Policies for Women, we had the approval of the Pact to Combat Violence against Woman. Our research question aims to understand who coordinates this policy to combat violence against women? To this end, we propose to study the decrees and ordinances that were drawn up from the signing of the “Pact to Combat Violence Against Women” and we hope to understand how this policy was structured and how its implementation was foreseen. With this brief research, we hope to understand what are the state capacities to execute a policy that proposes to respond to a complex problem that has several causes.
