RESUMO:

The purpose of this research is to investigate the possible correlation between the level of corporate entrepreneurship and the companies’ results. Intrapreneurship or corporate entrepreneurship, a term coined by Gifford Pinchot III, which flourishes in a favorable environment, favors the creation of new products, services and forms of management within consolidated companies. Currently, due to high market’s competition and the growing use of technologies in the development of new businesses and products, the need for innovation in companies becomes a constant concern. Authors such as Schumpeter, Zahra and Barney connect corporate entrepreneurship with business innovation capacity and sustainable competitive advantage. The methodology used is a bibliographical review to structure a theoretical model with a survey carried out with employees of financial services companies to elaborate a ranking of financial services companies in Brazil. As a result, it is noted that there is a weak negative correlation between CE and profitability, a weak positive correlation between CE and consumer experience, and an unexpressed correlation between CE and employee experience.
