RESUMO:

The current world is unsustainable for the future of man on Earth. Global development has been accelerated by population growth, reflecting increased use of natural resources and environmental degradation. It is evident that current production needs to consider sustainability at all stages of the process and product. Thus, this research project uses biomimetics as a basis for the development of a product evaluation methodology, with application aimed at the insertion of biomimetics in the area of education for undergraduate students. The methodology will be tested in the SYN®-AKE product case study.
