RESUMO:

The evolution of the industry has always brought innovations to processes and changes in the way people deal with their activities. In the fourth Industrial Revolution, known as industry 4.0, intelligent data processing, the internet of things and artificial intelligence technology were integrated into the process of making industries more and more innovative, however, in this revolution there are new risks that need to be evaluated before its impacts become irreversible. From this perspective, it is necessary to discuss the social impacts associated with the use of artificial intelligence. Therefore, the study aimed to develop an analysis of the main social impacts that this technological change can have on society. Therefore, an exploratory and descriptive study was developed, which was elaborated in three phases: In the first stage, this work presents a bibliometric discussion of articles related to the social impacts of the use of artificial intelligence, a total of 690 articles were identified. and evaluated using Bibliometrix software; in the second stage, a systematic review is carried out, based on the PRISMA protocol; and in the final stage, the Delphi Method will be applied, which will seek the assessment of specialists in the area in Brazil, to assess the order of importance of the social impacts assessed and what are the critical factors for the implementation of mitigation actions through the Delphi method. The main contribution of this study refers to pointing out trends, based on academic communication statistics and on the qualitative analysis of these publications, to guide the definition and implementation of actions aimed at mitigating or eliminating the social impacts associated with the use of artificial intelligence.
