Industry 4.0 brought new tools for use in companies, including the application of the simulation allows to improve the inventory planning of assemblies as aggregates, however, the use of simulation for this purpose, based on the replanning of production, is little explored, being more usual its wider use in the industry as as a whole, and exploring aspects such as incoming and outgoing orders. The purpose of this work is the development of a case study of a project implemented in a large national automaker of trucks and buses, where the Industry 4.0 simulation tool for dynamic re-planning of the ideal 'mix' of the stock of aggregates, such as engines, axles and transmissions. The methodology used includes, in addition to own case study, the bibliographic review of the theme, analyzing how far the academic knowledge about simulation in industry 4.0. The work resulted in a script Python and a dashboard developed in Power BI, which compares the simulated ideal stock, based on the breakdown in aggregates of the truck and bus assembly sequence planned, with the actual stock of these. The Dashboard allows instant insights into the situation, adding information to the decision making of logistics and production managers. the vision of simulation from an analysis of the most recent assembly sequence, after replanning and alterations, allows a much more accurate simulation, in real time and of light processing, the short-term need of aggregates. The solution can be used for other needs, such as calculating the ideal stock of ready-to-use sets pre-assembly, or any situation where the component to be shipped suffers a transformation or aggregation, which allows its assembly in very specific products of the production line.
