SUMMARY:

Industry 4.0 brings in its approach successive changes and transformations in manufacturing, and these changes go beyond the manufacturing environment, an area directly affected by this influence is the logistics area and due to this, we are currently experiencing a revolution in this sector, the so-called Logistics 4.0. However, the evolution of Logistics 4.0 is an emerging concept both in companies and in academia, most of the articles already in the literature are theoretical and conceptual. Considering this status, the objective of this study was to approach the concept of logistics 4.0, identifying the status of academic productions, which technologies are cited in the literature and describing a case study on the technological innovations adopted in the logistics area of a multinational industry of the automotive branch located in the Greater ABC region and its possible impacts. And to achieve this objective, the case study method and application of a survey type research are used. The collected data will be analyzed and later registered in the dissertation.
