SUMMARY:

In the last decade, the world has been going through a continuous digital transformation driven by industry 4.0 with the goal of developing technologies capable of presenting new possibilities to increase productivity and efficiency in manufacturing (KAKNJO et al, 2018). These new technologies driven by digital transformations have promoted the emergence of disruptive digital businesses leveraged by the emergence of these new technologies and invoking new concepts and skills needed by managers (SOUSA & ROCHA, 2019). Also in their article, Sousa and Rocha highlight the important role of IoT (Internet of Things). Salhaoui et al.(2019) highlights that one of the great challenges of IoT is to ensure the interoperability between devices in order to obtain and allow cooperation between devices and humans and also between the devices themselves, however, one of the elements that can interfere in this process it is the communication time between them. Considering the importance of communication in an IoT environment, this study presents a monitoring model that allows real-time monitoring of communication between IoT devices.
