RESUMO:

The objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of the technologies of industry 4.0 on the supply chain in Brazilian companies from different sectors, in the improvement of the operational, financial and sustainable performance. For this purpose, indicators related to both industry 4.0 technologies and company characteristics and to the operational, financial and sustainable performance of companies were defined and operationalized, based on a literature review. Financial and sustainable data from 42 leading companies in their respective sectors were collected from the website investing.com and their respective annual reports from the companies. In addition, questionnaires were sent to companies in different sectors on the adoption of digital technologies in the supply chain and on the performance obtained. From the responses received, was it possible to extract by factor analysis? orthogonal factors that form distinct groups of digital technologies: (…). Also by factor analysis,? factors were extracted from the values obtained for companies' operational indicators, namely: (…). Regarding financial and sustainable data, it was possible to extract 6 factors: (…). The analysis by hierarchical regression with 3 levels showed that there is a strong association between (...). The results are analyzed and discussed in the light of the hypotheses formulated and the improvements brought about in the operational, financial and sustainable performance, in order to support the decision-making of professionals in the area.
