RESUMO:

 Our main research objective is to analyze the interests of the brazilian internal bourgeoisie in South America regional integration processes during Dilma Rousseff government (2011-2016). We aim to understand this class fraction positions in face of the political crisis that Brazil went through before the president’s impeachment. The hypothesis adopted is that there was a change in the positioning of the great internal bourgeoisie which, according to Boito (2018), was hegemonic in PT governments, on regional integration when (I) the processes took on political contours, especially with the entry of Venezuela, (II ) when Brazilian exports lost markets to Chinese imports domestically and regionally, after the financial crisis of 2008 and (III) when other alternatives for inter- and extra-bloc insertion begin to appear, such as the OMC-Plus mega investment agreements. The idea is that these three points are related to the internal bourgeoisie’s political-ideological position. The discontent with regional integration has its origins in post-international crisis of 2008, specifically from 2012 onwards with the drop in GDP and the flow of exports to the region. It was from then on that the internal bourgeoisie began to manifest itself against maintaining integration as central to Brazilian foreign policy. The theoretical and conceptual framework to be used are written by the marxist Nicos Poulantzas. We will investigate the internal bourgeoisie’s interests using the documents produced by the representative entities, such as FIESP (Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo) and CNI (National Confederation of Industry), in order to understand how these entities positioned themselves before Venezuela's entry in Mercosur, the consolidation of Unasur, and the Mercosur-European Union agreement.
