RESUMO:

Brazil has a rich and diversified culture, due the participation of differets kinds of ethnicity in the formation of its population. Despite this variety of cultural expressions, we notice the hegemony of types of art styles released by the means of communication. The artistic manifestations need a space to be developed and the school is a privileged place to promote the art and democratizing the culture. By art, children can express their experiences through of senses of environment they are inserted. These experiences will influence their creative, social and emotional abilities. The performance of the teacher, as professional responsible for this process, has an important role in making art more accessible and is essential to its experiences the different artistic languages in his formation to mediate the relation between art and students. We opt for studying the formation of teachers to check if art is present and how the experiences with art and culture influence their performance in the classroom. The presentation of this research will be in multiple articles or multipaper formats. In a article we will presented an analysis of the graduation courses of the Federal University of ABC - UFABC. A choice of this university owed by the fact it was built with the proposal to innovate, offering a flexible curriculum that would allow the student to customize its formation, the interdisciplinarity would provide an integral formation, the subjects of the different areas of knowledge including art and culture would be contemplated. Another article we opted for narrative research, inviting a group of teachers who have worked in public schools in the eastern part of São Paulo in recent years to tell us their personal class experiences. The nota is interpreted and organized as information in a narrative text. We understand that an institution and a person can give an overview of the cultural formation of teachers.
