NATURE AND SOCIETY: Education for a necessary ecosocial metabolism
In the face of the socio-environmental crisis, there is an urgent need to reframe the relationship between human beings and nature, and to change the mode of production and reproduction of life. Therefore, we have chosen as an anti-capitalist strategy a radical civilizing alternative, Ecosocialism. Hence, I bring the following question: how can Critical Environmental Education subsidize elementary school educators to contribute to this change? My hypothesis is that it offers guidelines for the implementation of counter-hegemonic educational praxis. Thus, this research project aims to bring to the center of the debate an Emancipatory Education that aims to add to Education as a pedagogical process in the construction of an ecosocialist society.
