Macrocompetences of the BNCC: An epistemological change in the Public Technical Schools?
The labour world has a hermeneutic relationship with the social and technological
changes we have been witnessing, at the same time the transformations in the
production resources and in the work relationships generate an impact on social
relations, they are also influenced by them and need to adapt to theirs demands,
objectives and subjectives, of society. On the other hand, the need to accelerate the
entry of young people into the labour world cannot be a justification for reducing the
quality of access to academic repertoire, which is expensive for the student integral
formation. Although there is a movement to bring mentality changes to teaching
practices, the professional education at secondary level and its peculiarities are rarely
highlighted in educational research.
The objective of this research is to map explicit and tacit evidences that indicate the
development of the BNCC general competences in the Public Technical Schools
(ETECs) managed by the Paula Souza Center, in the State of São Paulo, with the
premise of identifying if there are educational processes that promote the learning
experiences necessary for the development of competences and abilities that prepare
students of Technical Professional Education of Secondary Level for the
transformations in the 21st century’s society. Within these general skills, emphasis will
be given to those that dialogue with the development of scientific literacy, education in
human rights and the Life Project.
