SUMMARY:
Didactic material can be defined as pedagogical products or didactic resources used in school spaces. The didactics, on the other hand, examines the foundations, conditions and ways of conducting the pedagogical process, or, it seems, is linked to the intentions of two teachers. These educators, faced with the transformations in society, have questioned their practices and sought to find solutions based on diversifying the use of pedagogical tools, a process that accelerated during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The present work was driven by concerns about this process from his experience as a teacher. Thus, this research was carried out in the multipaper format, or also known as a collection of articles. Thus, it consists of three articles, the first of which is entitled "Teaching material, its functions and diversifications: the state of the art", seeking to reflect on the Brazilian academic production on the theme "Teaching material" from a systematic review of publications literature in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations for the period from 2018 to 2022. The second article, entitled: “What support materials do teachers use to promote learning?”, presents the results of research on the selection, construction and use of didactic material by teachers of disciplines related to Natural Sciences. For this, I opted for a qualitative approach with the application of a questionnaire with structured questions. The data, generated through the responses of 19 respondents, were analyzed using Simple Statistics and Discursive Textual Analysis based on Moraes and Galiazzi (2013). The third article, which is still under construction, seeks to analyze different data related to the conceptions of Natural Science teachers about teaching materials. We noticed through the studies that the existing research dealing with didactic material in the academic field is concentrated in public universities, the main theme being productions related to language teaching. The analysis also shows that academic works mostly have a discourse related to the progressive movement of Education, placing the student as the protagonist of the process and the teacher as a mediator, using the didactic material as a bridge between knowledge and learning, always with intentionality. and many times building the material itself to solve gaps. Regarding the analysis of the questionnaire, we noticed that most of the interviewees attach great importance to the production of diversified materials and believe that this task can make classes more attractive and that it also leads to more elaborate and extensive planning. We highlight the non-linear relationship of use of technological resources by teachers, who at times reproduce content in their classes and also consume content for inspiration, establishing an intrinsic relationship between the internet, the content, the planning of their classes and also the production of teaching materials
