The dialogic formation of teachers for the teaching of botany: reports of a formative process
This qualification text aims to present the reflections carried out during a participatory action research on teacher training and botany teaching. The research was based on data obtained during an extension course that took place online throughout 2021.
The thesis text is being built in the Multipaper model. The present qualification text is composed of articles and book chapters that will discuss the process of construction and execution of the research and extension project, bringing relevant questions regarding the perception of teachers about the formative process, the importance of dialogicity for the execution of the process, in addition to broader issues such as the importance of adopting a pedagogical practice closer to the reality of students and teachers in order to develop a more authentic teaching of botany.
The project's proposal is based on an action research taking into account its Latin American reading, as well as structured from the 3 pedagogical moments, proposed by Delizoicov, Angotii and Pernambuco. Bearing this in mind, the entire research process still talks with Paulo Freire's references, in order to take into account the development of an authentic praxis for the field of research in science teacher education
