RESUMO:

Sex Education is always present at school, even if in an unintentional and not systematized way. That's because people's sexuality accompanies them throughout their lives, from birth to death, and is not left behind once they pass through the school gates. At the same time, the school is not exempt from the tensions, prejudices and violence that permeate gender and sexuality issues. In fact, it is a space that produces inequalities insofar as it differentiates and categorizes the people who integrate it. But, at the same time, it has the potential to be a space for reflection and deconstruction of prejudices and discrimination (LOURO, 2020). For this to happen, it is essential that formal Sex Education be present in schools and be practiced transversally and in a lasting way. The general objective of this research is to deepen the understanding of how much the pedagogical practices in Sex Education in schools are aligned with what is recommended by the legislation and documents of the Ministry of Education that deal with the theme. Thus, our guiding question is "How do pedagogical practices in Sexual Education occur and how do they relate to official documents of Education?". The present research is being carried out in multipaper format, and is composed of four, one of which is a theoretical review and three that seek to respond to our specific objectives. Our partial considerations are that the research has shown that teachers and teachers are indeed supported to carry out Sexual Education practices in schools. However, there is no single, explicit document that can ratify this. Therefore, we believe that the country's schools will not be able to carry out an integral, transversal and perennial Sexual Education with students and families until there is a single and forceful legislation on it. In addition, it is necessary that Sexual Education integrates the curricula of undergraduate courses in the country so that teachers are and feel more prepared to deal with the subject in the classroom.
