Parameters of the complexity and nature of science to build class proposals from a socio-environmental report
For many times it implies about the socio-environmental problems present in the media, incorporating deterministic and simplifying approaches, which, in turn, can lead to an uncritical and complex discussion about the real problems of our society. Given this, and assuming that students are interested in understanding how this news impacts their lives and how they relate to the concepts worked at school, this research identifies some elements of the nature of science (NOS) to then potentiate them in a socio-environmental report published in the media. Methodologically, considering the aspects of the Discursive Textual Analysis, some parameters of complexity and NOS are identified to then locate spaces in a matter of a socio-environmental nature that are potential for the promotion of more complex ones in Physics classes. From the results, it is noted that the parameters found can contribute for the teacher to identify those that are more appropriate to the reality in order to provide them in the production of classes that address contemporary problems and that can mobilize other learning than just conceptual ones.
