THE RESULTS IMPROVEMENT METHOD IN THE SÃO PAULO STATE SCHOOL-SYSTEM
This research refers to the Results Improvement Method (MMR), implemented in the state network of São Paulo from 2016 to boost the indicators of state schools in São Paulo, especially performance in Portuguese language and mathematics. This experience is not exactly new, having been implemented by a company that independently applied the method and applied it in other Brazilian states and municipalities. In São Paulo, this initiative is part of a managerial logic that advances over successive PSDB governments with a repertoire of actions to increase quantitative indicators. Through the analysis of public documents and classification with teachers and school principals, a research aims to make a history of the implementation of the MMR in the state network in São Paulo, as well as the analysis of its impacts on the daily lives of schools and on the teaching work from references on the precariousness of work.
