RESUMO:

The research presented in this dissertation was conceived as a continuation of two scientific initiation researches, in which the theoretical foundation, the curricular documents and tasks related to the teaching of the mathematical content of geometric transformations were explored. Aiming to address how the teacher organizes and materializes such aspects in the classroom, the aim of this work is to show and understand how the teacher's knowledge interferes in their practice in relation to the content of geometric transformations, and to show and understand what the teacher's knowledge is emerge in the interaction with tasks on the mathematical content of geometric transformations. The research was qualitative in nature, and consisted of three main axes, the first being a literature review on the concepts to be addressed in the other axes. The second axis concerns the teacher's knowledge that emerges when addressing the content of geometric transformations in the classroom, in which, using the Knowledge Quartet tool, a situation in which a teacher worked the content in the classroom was analyzed and discussed. mathematics of geometric transformations. Finally, the third deals with the teacher's knowledge that emerges in the interaction with tasks on geometric transformations, in which, based on the findings of the class analyzed in the previous axis, an investigative task with the Geogebra software was developed, which was addressed with teachers during an action of continuing education, and through which it was intended to mobilize in them attributes of reflective practice, aiming at making such habits reflect permanently in the teaching performance.
