RESUMO:

This research focuses on a qualitative approach and collaborative actions mobilized between Basic Education teachers and researchers involved in a process of continuing education in geometry. The dissertation is presented in multipaper format - a set of scientific articles, and is divided into 5 chapters. The first refers to the Introduction, in which the researcher's academic trajectory, the study's problems and justifications are described; the three objectives that guide the research, the organization of the dissertation and the methodological procedures constituted in the production and analysis of the data. Following, the first article is presented, which refers to the literature review and seeks to meet the first objective to identify and analyze theoretical and methodological aspects related to the continuing education of mathematics teachers and the teaching of geometry. This was a theoretical study, carried out through a qualitative meta-synthesis of 20 articles selected from national and international magazines, in the area of Teaching and Education. It focused on the main aspects of each study and the convergence and divergence between these elements. We emphasize that objectives 2 and 3 are guided by the results of the production and analysis of data that integrate the training moments and the respective classrooms of the teachers, this being an empirical study, using episodes of the training process. Objective 2 aims to identify and analyze empirical evidence of collaboration in a group formed to plan, discuss and reflect on tasks for teaching geometry in the Basic Education school. In order to contemplate these aspects, we based on theoretical references on collaboration to analyze moments destined to the planning and elaboration of geometry tasks and to the subsequent reflections of their applications with students of the 9th Year of the Final Years of Elementary School. Objective 3 covers the following objective to identify and understand the knowledge mobilized by basic education teachers when addressing geometric concepts in the classroom. In this context, we use the Knowledge Quartet (KQ) as a tool for analyzing the dimensions of knowledge that are revealed in teaching practice or in a discipline. Finally, in chapter 5, a synthesis of the main ideas of each article is presented to reflect on the work done. The results show collaboration as a means for the production of knowledge, rupture in solitary work. This, together with the training process based on the school, can minimize the gap between the knowledge of the practice and the knowledge of the academy. Finally, KQ as a theoretical tool for analyzing teacher actions in a discipline contributes to the identification of gaps associated with training and knowledge mobilized in / in action by teachers.
