Hybrid multicriteria modeling for the acquisition of wet mortar pumping equipment in civil construction
The need to increase the use of equipment in construction to reduce production time and reduce waste are vital to civil construction processes. Thus, one of the measures is the use of equipment to pump mortar for various applications. However, a point little discussed in the literature is how the decision is made to choose the best alternative for pumping equipment. Another important point is the size of the works that are increasing both in area and in complexity. Large shopping centers are being created and residential condominiums are increasingly occupying spaces that were previously underutilized. Thus, the purpose of this research is to present a decision support study using a hybrid modeling with the AHP and TOPSIS methods to evaluate five alternatives of pumps existing in the Brazilian market and using important criteria for purchasing decision such as: Performance, Ease of Use, After Sales, Quality, Market Reference and Price.
