Measuring vulnerability of landslides risk as contribution to the elaboration of The Municipal Risk Reduction Plan in Franco da Rocha - state of São Paulo.
The methodology for identification and analysis of social risk adopted by the Municipal Risk Reduction Plans - PMRR and consolidated by the Ministry of Cities since 2003, has as one of its limitations the lack of analysis of vulnerability to the danger of landslides. For the construction of vulnerability indicators that can be used for the mapping of sliding risks, it is proposed to understand the risks as a socially constructed phenomenon, and for its identification and effective measurement, it is essential to multi-scale and multitemporal analysis the social construction of vulnerability and hazards. This work is based on the current risk identification methodology, but it seeks to incorporate socio - natural vulnerability indicators against the slip risk to qualify the current methodology for mapping social risk
