A Proposal of a Didactic Sequence for the Electrostatics Teaching from the Vygotsky’s perspective - Acquisition of the electric charge concept
The present work intends to present an alternative to traditional teaching for Electrostatics teaching for the senior year of high school. Several works indicate that students leave high school and sometimes enter in physics college degree without basic knowledge in electrostatics. It is imperative that basic concepts such as “electric charge” be known not only to futures physicians, but also to the population in general, given its frequent appearance in everyday life. To promote such learning, this work presents an educational product composed of a didactic sequence and an original educational application, with the aim of internalizing the concept of electric charge according to Vygotsky’s framework. For this purpose, a comparison is also promoted, both in number of classes and in results, between students who had traditional expository classes and students who had classes with the aforementioned educational product.
