"Productivity in a Digital Work Environment, a Study on Working Outside the Office"
With technological tools increasingly accessible to organizations, effective information
management becomes more and more necessary. Companies are brimming with data on their
employees, suppliers and customers, but not all are considered the best and most integrated way
to make decisions and improve the productivity of their teams. The continuous growth in the
volume of data was not accompanied by the capacity to manage them. The integration between
the technology team and all other areas of the company has required greater capacity for
information management, providing this type of integration can change the level of companies
in terms of productivity and strategic decision making. This article tries to understand the role
of technological tools in the construction of a digital workplace for the productivity of the
teams, proposing a comparative scenario between a team working in person 100% of the time
and the same team working 2 days of the week only using digital out-of-office digital tools to
assess the advantages and disadvantages of building a digitally integrated work scenario,
including the personal advantages and disadvantages of employees using each of the scenarios.
