BASIC SOCIAL SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL INCLUSION: application proposal for assessment and teaching
Autistic Spectrum Disorder refers to a series of conditions characterized by deficits related to non-verbal communication and social behavior, therefore, these people may have certain difficulties in social relationships, such as making and maintaining a friendship, or even an affective relationship and other difficulties. A literary research was carried out to find out how the literature has documented intervention proposals aimed at teaching social skills to adults with this diagnosis, after this survey, it was noted that only two returned articles focused at teaching social skills to adults through some kind of software technology. The present study aims to verify if a digital platform with experimental tasks that simulates interpersonal relationships, through social stories, is enough to guarantee teaching conditions for some social skills (Assertive Conversation and Expression of Positive Feelings), in adults with ASD with or without ID. Two teaching modules were created, one for each of the social skills that will be taught, where three situations of social interaction that a university student usually experiences will be simulated. Before and after each module, tests and a baseline will be applied to validate the individual's learning progress in relation to the social skills taught in each module. Finally, the data collected with the tests will be analyzed to validate the effectiveness of the social skills teaching platform.
