The main objectives of this research line are:
1) Study of the molecular characteristics of the various biosystems formed by their basic structural components, that acquire hierarchical levels of organization and result in structural relationships and interactions in the same levels or between different levels.
2) Establish relationships between molecular characteristics and alterations in function, dynamics and interactions between its components or with the external environment, in the different studied biosystems (prokaryotes and eukaryotes)
This research line applies to:
1) Multiparametric analyses utilizing computational models as tools capable of simulating molecular structures and intermolecular interactions, complementing experimental data obtained in the laboratory.
2) Development, characterization and evaluation of the possible therapeutic applicability of new technologies to diagnosis and treatment of human and/or veterinary pathologies.
