UMBANDIST MOVEMENT: RESISTANCE, EXPERIENCE AND MEMORY
This research has as its theme the study on the transmissibility of the Umbanda tradition through orality, valuing the memory and the shared experience in daily coexistence and rituals. The fundamental aspect of my insertion as a researcher and as na Umbandista stands out as a reflective process in the field of anthropological theories as well as an opening for the realization of ethnography. From the ethnography carried out in an umbanda tent, approximations between the transmissibility of Umbanda teachings, rituals, ethics and identity are made possible and the Benjamin perspective of collective experience (erfahung), narration and tradition. Therefore, memory, narrativity, tradition, experience and perception of time are mobilized.
