THE UBERIZATION OF WORK AND STRUCTURAL RACISM: a reading of the new forms of work from the point of view of race
How are the relations between the uberization of work and structural racism in Brazil? This questioning structures this work, which aims to understand who the app delivery men are, and why they are mostly young black people who are inserted in this context. The methodology adopted begins with a bibliographical and documental review, with the aim of understanding the main and interdisciplinary concepts; Uberization of work and structural racism. Thus, the first chapter develops the concepts of race and racism and how they were inserted in society based on a project of social exclusion of black people and the use of techniques to maintain the power of whiteness over the work and life of black people. Continuing on, the second chapter begins the discussion about work and couriers by application. That through the systemic precariousness that makes up the entire trajectory of the world of work, and which gains new platforms, intensifies the process of precariousness that via uberization of work that narrates markers seen since the 70s.
