RESUMO:

The conformation of neoliberalism from the effects of the crisis of the 1970s contributed to the rise and consolidation of agribusiness in Brazil. This process is driven by the shaping of an accumulation pattern based on financialization and the consolidation of multinational control of the main global production chains. In this sense, agribusiness is presented in Brazil as a contradictory articulation between the classical agrarian bourgeoisie in the form of large estates and transnational companies in the input sectors and corporations that control the processing and marketing of agricultural commodities. The soy complex (grain, bran and oil) is the main agribusiness production chain in the country, with multinational corporations in control of the main stages of the production process, such as the control of inputs, processing and access to global demand. This research seeks to analyze from the soy production chain, its rise and consolidation as the main agricultural commodity of Brazilian agribusiness, driven by financialization mechanisms, its structuring in the country will allow us to discuss whether there is a reconfiguration of dependence from the current neoliberal offensive in Brazil.
