RESUMO:

The work reviews the theoretical production of the so called Liberation theory, highlighting its contributions in the field of Political Economy, specifically with its interpretation and particular use of the Marxist theory of fetishism. What can give a certain originality to our investigation is the scope from which we intend to constitute it: the Latin American theory of liberation developed by researchers from the Ecumenical Research Department (DEI), with an emphasis on the theoretical production of Franz Hinkelammert.
