SUMMARY:

The present work is a philosophical experience that seeks to answer how it is possible to lead the student to make a critical interpretation of what is read, intending a philosophical writing that wants to answer the existential and social questions that permeate the lives of students. Its general objective is to investigate and analyze how the reading of a philosophical text in high school takes place, based on the use of a philosophical text. And it has as specific objectives: To analyze the relationship between a specific philosophical text given in class and the context in which it was read - To investigate how the reading of this text is worked by the teacher in the classroom - To develop a proposal for reading and writing for the text in question - Discuss the results of the analysis. Two tasks were chosen as a methodological proposal, one theoretical-conceptual, in the first two chapters, and another methodological practice. In the first chapter, we critically discuss the philosophical teaching perspective that starts from the premise that the concepts present in the texts must be learned in an encyclopedia and summarized way, meeting the external demands of philosophy teaching. In the second part, we sought to establish a perspective in which the student becomes a reader of philosophical texts, intending to extrapolate their meanings beyond what the author thought, from the concepts of reading the world, reading the word and writing the the words of philosopher and educator Paulo Freire. In the last chapter, a reading and writing experience at Colégio Vinicius de Moraes was proposed, based on the preface of the book Black Skin, White Masks by the philosopher Frantz Fanon, with the aforementioned Freirean concepts as a background.
