RESUMO:

The objective of this research work is to contribute to the practices of dialogues and philosophical reflections with high school students, in the context of a public school, from a space called the thought laboratory. It is a dialogical experience and a form of political resistance, in the face of the continuous process of disciplinary instrumentalization of the teaching of philosophy. Our premise is that, like the concept of school as the one that promotes the suspension of time and space for teaching and learning, it is equally important that there is a legitimate place for philosophical thinking. A place of suspension, within the school, of a time and space for dialogue and thought, not the dialogue and thought given, proper to the instrumental way of teaching and learning in neoliberal society. However, dialogue as a category of reflective practice, implicating not only the theory, but also the development of a thought for transforming action. In this way, the thought laboratory, that place that seeks the legitimacy of exercising time to think, comes from the perspective of Freire's dialogues of “solidarity to reflect and act”, from the narratives and the listening that touch us and they affect us significantly to exercise a more contemplative and critical life. Contrasting the model of neoliberal school organization that does not consider the relationship between the student's territorial context, the contents and the subjectivation relationships of individuals. In this sense, this research intends to problematize the following question: it is possible that philosophy, which is highly controversial in the context of contemporary Brazilian politics, may, from within a thought laboratory, be a form of intellectual resistance in the face of processes of instrumentalization and reification of teaching philosophy?
