RESUMO:

ABSTRACT
In this research I present the construction, execution and results of a project elaborated on cinema and philosophy, based on the experiences of teaching Philosophy classes at Escola Estadual Cidade de Hiroshima, located in the city of São Paulo. Also aims to discuss the aesthetical production of the suspense in Alfred Hitchcock’s cinema in order to consider the Teaching of Philosophy, having High School’s students in the second grade in consideration. The main objective is to produce cinematic experiences capable of leading to the conversion, denaturalization and/or transformation of the perception, sensitivity and regard of the students, as well as that of the teacher responsible for the research, using the concept of cinema as a philosophical experimentation the way it is proposed by Alain Badiou. Our hypothesis is that the philosophical experimentation provided by the cinema occurs through ruptures and disjunctive synthesis that are offered by the clues and the evidence that are presented in Hitchcock's films. The research reports the initial experiences of using cinema in the classroom as an awareness-raising agent and as a didactic-pedagogical resource and presents the change to a new paradigm, which proposes an approach to cinema through the field of aesthetics and cinematic language. Among the authors who provided technical, historical, theoretical and methodological support and foundations for the construction of the research, the following stand out: Inácio Araújo, Jacques Aumont, David Bordwell, and François Truffaut. As result of the research, I present and discuss the didactic material that was elaborated to work with the aesthetical production of the suspense in Hitchcock’s cinematography in the scope of Philosophy’s Teaching and the experiences of the teacher/researcher in its application with High School’s students. Finally, I discuss the role of Hitchcock's cinematography for the Philosophy’s Teaching from the perspective of an indicative paradigm (Ginzburg) based on the clues and evidence present in The Shadow of a Doubt (1943).
