SUMMARY:

This dissertation analyzes the distribution of income in the Brazilian economic cycle in the period 2005-2015 from the point of view of the distributive conflict between capitalists and workers. The literature used was a post-keynesian, especially Keynes and Kalecki. To measure the variables throughout the economic cycle, the research uses descriptive statistics on economic growth, capital accumulation and income distribution. The results indicate that it was the slowdown in economic activity that intensified the conflict over income appropriation. In this sense, the improvement in income distribution, with real wage gains, did not resist the slowdown and economic crisis.
