RESUMO:

The research analyzes the process of defining the layout of Line 1 Blue of the São Paulo Metro, interpreting the influences of public and private agents and civil society demonstrations (street acts, undersigned, press notes, etc.). Through interviews with technicians and leaders of the Metropolitan Company and the reading of newspapers, magazines and reports of Metro, we verified the degree of attendance to economic, urban and mobility demands of the population.
