SUMMARY:

Digital games have gained global reach and are increasingly integrated into people's daily lives. With the ability to replicate real-world environments, simulations, and imaginative scenarios, games and video games encompass a wide range of scales, from the micro to the interplanetary. However, the academic exploration of the application of digital games in territorial planning remains relatively unexplored. This study aims to contribute to narrowing this gap through a systematic review of publications involving the use of digital games in territorial planning. The primary objective is to identify the potential contributions of using digital games in the field of territorial planning, particularly in the domains of education, participatory practices, and representation. We believe that the results of this research have the potential to stimulate the use of games in teaching and practices of territorial planning.
