RESUMO:

This project is aimed at the investigation of the concept of the urban project. Is does so through the analysis of the evolution of large redevelopment projects in the city of São Paulo and specific aspects of the urban plan and the viability of real estate projects. We take the new warehouse of São Paulo (NESP) as a case study, i.e. a project designed by the private sector aimed at the construction of a multi-functional warehouse complex in the neighbourhood of Perus-SP that will concentrate the handling of commercial and service activities, including those actually being managed by the São Paulo warehouse and storage Company (CEAGESP).
