SUMMARY:

In this work, we study the so-called f-belos, which were introduced in the Antonio M. Oller-Marcén’s paper named The f-belos. Under certain conditions an arbelo (shoemaker’s knife) can be regarded as a special f-belo. Based on the known results for arbelos, we present some geometric properties of f-belos such as the construction of a parallelogram associated to a point of af-belo and the construction of its tangent parallelogram.
