SUMMARY:

This work presents a theory for combinatorial multivector fields, defined on finite combinatorial complexes, based on Conley index theory. This theory, developed by Marian Mrozek, makes use of Lefschetz chain complexes, which are useful on applications requiring approximation of vector fields. We present Lefschetz chain complexes, introduce isolated invariant sets and the Conley index in the combinatorial setting.
