PAGES: 50

SUBÁREA: Áreas Clássicas de Fenomenologia e suas Aplicações
SPECIALTY: Ótica
SUMMARY:

Optoelectronic devices have become indispensable tools in scientific and technological applications due to their high accuracy and measurement speed. In particular, optical instrumentation systems provided the development and optimization of holographic optical systems, among them, tools for particle trapping or holographic optical tweezers; holographic optical metrology systems; digital holographic microscopy in addition to holographic projection systems and 3D microfabrication, as well as the generation of special beams via computer-generated holograms, among others. On the other hand, the holographic generation of light beams structured with orbital angular momentum, or optical vortices, are presenting promising perspectives in the improvement and innovation in holographic optical tweezers, optical communication, quantum information, imaging, metrology and optical interferometry. In this sense, the objective of this work is to carry out a study and the generation of optical vortices and implement these in optical instrumentation systems. The first part of this work is to carry out an investigation, theoretical and experimental generation, on some types of optical beams with orbital angular momentum, where the experimental generation of these optical vortices will be done in a holographic experimental apparatus using computational holography techniques and spatial light modulators. The second part of this work consists of applying these optical vortices in optical instrumentation systems, more specifically, a holographic optical tweezers system, analyzing the pinching efficiency of each beam and improving the optical-holographic manipulation system of micro and nanoparticles; as well as a holographic interferometry system for topography analysis, displacement and force distribution.
