RESUMO:

In this work we investigate scalar perturbations around rotating black holes. First, we study superradiance, quasinormal modes and instabilities using massive scalar test fields propagating in the Kerr spacetime. Next, we analyze the same phenomena in a modified Kerr black hole constructed from a general parametrization of axisymmetric spacetimes. In particular, we compare the quasinormal modes of a Kerr black hole with the quasinormal modes of a deformed Kerr black hole. We also show that, for certain values of the scalar mass, superradiant instabilities can occur in both spacetimes, and that the modified Kerr black hole becomes more stable as the deformation parameter increases.
