SUMMARY:

The present research intends to investigate the concept of Serenity as an opening of possibility for the development of what is thought of as the saying of language in the framework of Martin Heidegger's philosophy (1889-1976), dealt in connection, above all, with the question of the also German Friedrich Nietzsche's will to power (1844-1900). It is important to point out that the interpretation of Nietzsche's philosophy takes place in the proposal developed by Heidegger. For this, it is necessary to articulate some fundamental notions developed in the Heideggerian script, that is, to find out what the philosopher thinks about overcoming metaphysics, the opening of possibilities for the encounter of the self that is more proper to being him/herself and the errancy of the contemporary man. Next, we proceed to analyze the unavoidable questioning of the prevailing poetic way of being, even if tragic, and the thoughtful permanence in the vicinity of serenity. Finally, we will highlight the disastrous and unhealthy consequences that a metaphysical framework imposes on the man who deludes himself in the apparent control of life, but as Heidegger's thought attests, forgets to be and, therefore, to live.
