SUMMARY:
.

In recent decades, we have seen an increase in popular and social struggles regarding respect for diversity. This happens all over the world. The perception of an ethical advance permeates speeches in general, which absolutely defend democracy and freedom and denounce dictatorships and totalitarianism, demanding inclusion and tolerance for all people. Even the old division of the world between East and West is now carried out with greater care, discursively defending cultural diversities positively, well situating and explaining the concepts of totalitarianism, dictatorships, absolute theocracies, etc. In Brazil, the advancement of feminist, indigenous, Afro-Brazilian, LGBTQIAP+, socialist, etc. discourses and demands. led us to the election of Luís Inácio Lula da Silva, a union metalworker, from the Workers' Party to the presidency of the Republic and not only that, to the election of Dilma Roussef, the country's first president. However, a political polarization ensued that led to the Impeachment of the country's first president, the advance of Neoliberalism imposed in a totalitarian manner, followed by the election of the abject figure Jair Bolsonaro, representing the desires of a totalitarian neoliberal extreme right. This election and the conclusion of a full term (4 years) unscrupulously executing the extreme neoliberal agenda, showed that even with the apparent advancement of social movements in their demands for inclusive rights, there was a political, economic and social setback with the withdrawal of rights historically conquered. And amazingly, in a more in-depth analysis, even in the federal governments of the Workers' Party, neoliberalism advanced like never before in the history of this country. We have at first a paradox. It is not possible to fully condemn the Workers' Party governments as they pursued an openly progressive foreign policy against US hegemony, built public universities and significantly expanded access to consumption and credit. However, its economic policy debuted a new type of neoliberalism that was not so easily noticeable, which facilitated the transformation of the prevalence of Brazilian industrial capitalism into financial capitalism. This change was not criticized on a large scale by social and popular movements in general, which also underwent a structural change, adapting to the structures of the bourgeois State, focusing their agendas and demands on inclusion.

This research intends to philosophically analyze what happened, problematizing and pointing out possibilities for liberation. The hypothesis is that both the federal governments of the Workers' Party, and social and popular movements in general, operated based on an identity rationality that was being constructed in our country along with the internal development of neoliberal capitalism. This rationality has as one of its main characteristics the individualized perception of people, alienating them from their communities and showing as the only possibility of existence the claim for their fulfillment and inclusion as an individual (individual identity) which appears as the realization of ontology. And from the philosophy of Enrique Dussel we find theoretical instruments that enable not only the criticism and problematization of this rationality, but also point out the possibility of rupture from another form of thought: the metaphysics of alterity (and liberation), from which it is possible to think politics ethically from the original community, which we will extend to the praxis of enosamento as the first stage of any possible liberation policy.
