RESUMO:

The main objective of the present work is to establish an approximation between the language conceptions spread along Blaise Pascal works and those found in Ludwig Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations. Despite difference in their expositions, for both authors, language is not constituted by means of definitions or demonstrations of referents, but by human actions as constituted in specific contexts.
