RESUMO:

The magnitude of modern physics for present society is an axiomatic fact. Therefore, the school needs to review its current curriculum, empower your teachers in modern learning methodologies and present new science perspectives for students. In the present work, the aim was to develop an educational product in modern physics learning for third grade students in high school. The modern physics theme for the educational product was the radiation-matter interaction in the perspective of photoelectric effect. The educational product was composed of a set of classes based on humanist methodology known as Three-pedagogical moments and supported by a set of experiments, videos and simulations. In these classes were treated the historical landmarks of photoelectric effect and, in these experiments, were taking the radiation-matter interaction into account for students to determine the Planck constant by yourselves. The qualitative and quantitative questionnaires for measuring the product feedback denote a significant learning of the concept addressed.
